Mark's Camp

The stone and thatch chalets and main lodge of Mark’s Camp are decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style. This lodge sleeps up to 20 guests in four individual chalets and four family chalets. Each comfortably furnished chalet has an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning for those warm summer nights. The chalets open up onto a private deck with views over the surrounding bush.

Between game drives, guests can relax in the large lounge, bird watch from the viewing decks or laze around the swimming pool. Mark’s Camp has an outdoor dining “boma” for fireside dinners and open-air brunches, as well as a gracious indoor dining area.

Mark's Camp is perfect for families travelling with young children. The 3 family rooms & 1 family suite can sleep up to 10 adults and 8 children.

An exciting children's programme is offered at this lodge.

The overnight rate at Mark's Camp (until 30th of September 2010) is R3,300 per person sharing, fully inclusive of accommodation, 2 game drives (evening & morning), all meals and all drinks at Mark's Camp and on game drives. To get the most out of your safari experience we recommend that you spend 2 or 3 nights with us.

SPECIAL OFFER: Stay for 3 nights at Mark's Camp, and pay R3,000 pp sharing per night. Stay for 4 nights and pay R2,475 pp sharing per night.

We spent three wonderful days despite the rain we had a fantastic time.my son benjamin 9 and daughter kali 7 were so excited to go out on the game drives.Our ranger daryl was superb he went out of his way to look after usand taught the kids alot about the wildlife and made it fun.The highlight for the kids was siting on daryls lap and helping steer the landrovers through the bush!Food and wine was very good and plentiful!!hank you so much for a great trip keep up the good work we will be back.

Thank you for your email. After initially trying to book a 3 day stay in the Kruger park, we had to give up due to an appalling lack of communication with the booking office and instead found your brochure and phoned immediately. We have never for one minute regretted our decision. Our stay at Lalibela Game Reserve was one of the most fantastic experiences we have ever had. We couldn't possibly find fault with anything as our stay from start to finish was handled with the utmost professionalism. The staff at Marks Camp were friendly, informative and always on hand for questions etc. Our two children were very taken with the staff too and enjoyed themselves thoroughly and had a hard time saying goodbye. The game drives were wonderful, with plenty to see and talk about with our very informative ranger. We have recommended Lalibela to all we have spoken to and hope that they too wish to experience your exceptional hospitality. What a wonderful stay & experience for my daughter & I at your lovely establishment.
