Everything was perfect! Before getting to the reserve, the reservation and confirmation service was excellent: timely efficient and very friendly and encouraging, thanks to you.

Then arriving there everything was wonderful: most importantly the staff, every single one of them! they are wonderful. then the meals, the setting, the rooms, the game drives; everything was simply perfect, an enchanting experience that was the highlight of my trip to south africa.

We came to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary here at Lalibela, well, what a good choice we made. Lana, Jene jy kan praat, Jy, reverse stories vertel!! Jy was net die best eons hoop om julle weer te sien, miskien naar nog 8 jaar.

Thank you to all for spotting all my favourite animals and thank you to Michael for all those appetisers.

It was wonderful to be here, the food, the nature, all the animals, the nice sunny weather and the staff (especially Herman and Alistair, the ranger). Herman was all camera man, fireman, Chef/cook etc… Thanks for the special time here. Our wedding day was perfect. It took place by the pool. For every person who visits this, it would be perfect.

Dear friends

We might not be able to visit again this year, but let me assure you that we had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lalibela. Your staff at the reserve, are really the most accommodating group of people that we have met in a very, very long time. Your game rangers are superb, in spite of the couple of "nail-biting" experiences we had with elephants that do not seem to realise that when the Jeep comes along they must "graciously' move out of the road!!! Your lady chef at Lentaba (shame on me I just cannot get to her name), should get an Olympic Gold for spoiling us rotten.

I just wanted to let you know our trip was truly memorable. The food was great. The staff was very caring and nothing was too much trouble. Our ranger (Chris) was extremely knowledgeable about plant and wildlife (a bit of info on the stars was also imparted!) We had a great time and would heartily recommend Lalibela to everyone.
